Kelsey Murphy is a WV artist who is able to do the unthinkable in the world of cameo carving - carve more than five layers of glass. Some of her pieces even contain up to twelve layers of glass. Cameo glass carving is a technique that requires great skill and patience to achieve remarkable results. Murphy hand carves layers of glass using pressurized aluminum oxide crystal.
