To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Huntington Museum of Art's C. Fred Edwards Conservatory, we've partnered with Huntington's own The Haute Wick Social to bring you a custom perfume inspired by the many incredible scents experienced within our beloved Conservatory, entitled Tepal! In the botanical world, the word tepal is a term for when the green, protective sepals and beautiful, delicate petals of a flower cannot be easily differentiated from one another. This scent, much like tepals, pulls both the masculine energy of the sepals paralleled with the feminine softness of the petals to give you a fragrance that can be worn and enjoyed by all! These 5 mL rollerball perfumes are created right here in Huntington! The label, designed by artist Haley Childs of The Haute Wick Social, includes linework of orchids in our collection, and the amber glass jar is a nod to Appalachian glass pieces found on display in our Decorative Arts Gallery!
Notes of warm vanilla, fragrant orchid, tangy mandarin, and sweet honeysuckle.
